The Saint John Port Authority has issued tenders for renovations to the rodney container terminal on the West-Side.
The work is expected to get started this month and includes replacing and refurbishing the decking piles and pile caps at the terminal which is located on the west side.
Chair of the Port Authority is Stephen Campbell who says much of the Port Authories infrastructure dates back to the 1800's.
The work is expected to be finished in September of next year at a cost of $1.4 million dollars.
