It will be November before you can drive on both eastbound lanes of the Harbour Bridge.
Repair work on the bridge is delayed. It was supposed to wrap up at the end of this month. The exact date of completion still isn't known. The construction season usually winds up in mid November.
Harbour Bridge Authority General Manager Ken Anthony tells CHSJ News he knows commuters won't be pleased with the delay.
Anthony says after meeting with the contractor, it's not one specific area that is causing the delay and more workers have been added to the project.
