UNBSJ and the Family Protection Unit of the Saint John Police Force are teaming up to reduce domestic violence.
Sgt. Joe Oliver tells CHSJ News, the unit will study 200 random cases from their files to determine some key issues.
Sgt. Oliver says the study will keep the team more informed and more specific in their approach to dealing with domestic violence.
Last year, over 500 cases of domestic violence were investigated.
