The city is proposing the Canada Games Aquatic Centre provide the lifeguards who will be keeping an eye on swimmers at four city beaches this summer from June 25th to August 21st. The city would pay the Aquatic Centre 108 thousand dollars if Common Council approves.
The lifeguards would be stationed at Dominion Park, Lakewood Resevoir, Lily Lake and Fisher Lakes.
