14 Maritimers are in Alberta as Canadian Red Cross Volunteers, lending their hand with relief efforts caused by the recent wildfires.
Chuck Todd of Hampton, along with his wife, make up part of that team. He says he arrived yesterday and immediately began helping out with logistics and supplies at the operations centre in Edmonton.
Todd tells CHSJ News he enjoys the challenge of working in a difficult situation.
Todd recently took part in the flood relief efforts in Charlotte County and has been a Red Cross volunteer for four years.
He says he will be helping out in the relief efforts for 2 to 3 weeks.
