Postponed Mental Health Fundraiser Gets a New Date

Because of a snowy rampage by mother nature, the original date for the Investor's Group Skate to Care fundraiser had to be postponed. The rescheduled fundraiser is kicking off tomorrow morning at Harbour Station. 

Donna Gates of the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation tells CHSJ news that she doesn't think the rescheduling will deter skaters.

The Mind Care event raises money for multiple mental health projects in the community, including the YMCA's Rainbows program, which helps kids deal with death and divorce. This year's theme is mental health superheroes. It starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m.
