A Gatsby-themed part called Revel at the Lido is taking place at the Diamond Jubilee Cruise Ship Terminal.
Paula Small tells CHSJ News they wanted to do something for the community who has supported the cruise ship industry for 25 years.
As a port, Small says they offer services to the ship and docking but the tour operators and the community are what makes Saint John a destination.
What the Funk will be providing the music, there is a casino on the second floor and guests will watch the cruise ship Regatta sail past around 8pm tonight.
Tickets for Revel at the Lido will be available at the door. The event begins at 7pm.
