Thanks to a mild winter, District Six has some extra cash in it's budget to play with.
5% saving on it's electricity bill and 20% on fuel means officials have purchased plenty of new smartboards.
Superintendent Zoe Watson tells CHSJ News, this is a vital tool in the learning process.
Watson says they hope to have 80-85% of class-rooms set-up with a smartboard in the near future.
Blinds for all the class-rooms and new lockers were purchased with the money saved as well.
