The challenge encourages people to leave their cars at home during National Environment Week from June 5th through the 11th.
Quispamsis Mayor Murray Driscoll says the town is already very conscious about the emission of green house gases.
He says the commuter challenge fits in well with the town's existing active transportation plan which encourages the public to use human modes of transport.
