Saint John Dries Out After Heavy Rainfall

We got alot of rain which began Wednesday night. As of 9 last night, we had been drenched with 64 millimeters. More than 57 millimeters of that fell during the day. 

A vehicle hydroplaned yesterday afternoon while going eastbound along Highway 1 just before the Fox Farm Road and slammed into a utility pole. One man was taken to hospital.

There were a couple of traffic disruptions on the east side because of water building up but that was nothing compared to what happened in Moncton where flooding occurred downtown.
