Saint John Will Benefit From Halifax Shipbuilding Deal

Saint John Board of Trade Chairman John Warrington says Saint John has a lot to gain from the multi-billion dollar shipbuilding contract recently awarded to Halifax.

He tells CHSJ News a lot of trade companies and service providers will be needed to build the ships and Saint John has many companies that are up for the task, such as fabricators and service providers.

He says Irving Shipbuilding is a sister company of J.D. Irving  which has deep roots here in the city.
