The
Crescent Valley Resource Center is responsible for hosting one heck of a
Christmas party: of the over 300 families that live in the
neighbourhood, over 200 people showed up last year.
That
means they need donations of cash, door prizes and more to make
Christmas merry for kids living in the North End community. Executive
Director Anne Driscoll tells CHSJ News this year they want to give every
family a game they can enjoy together, like Trouble, Cranium, and
Chutes and Ladders.
Door prizes like: grocery store gift cards, passes or tickets to
sporting / cultural events, city transit bus passes, coffee shop gift cards,
movie passes, and other family-friendly items are welcome. They also we
welcome cash donations to provide children attending the party with small
seasonal treats such as clementines, candy canes, and gingerbread cookies.

to help in another way, call 693-8513. The donations need to be in by November 15th, which is next week.
