Former Sea Dogs Facing Assault Charges

Former Sea Dogs coach and general manager Jacques Beaulieu and his son, former Sea Dog defenseman Nathan Beaulieu face assault charges after an altercation at a house party in the Sarnia, Ontario area last weekend following a golfing event.

Court appearances are scheduled in June.

Nathan Beaulieu played four seasons with the Sea Dogs and was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens. He played for the Hamilton Bulldogs in the American Hockey League this season.

Jacques Beaulieu was coach and general manager of the Sea Dogs from 2006 to 2009 and is now with the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League and is a finalist for coach of the year.
