The exercise is all part of National Rail Safety Week.
Student Taylor Kelson tells CHSJ News she doesn't drive yet but when she does this event will make her think twice at railway crossings.

Rob Francis of Operation Lifesaver says they find this method very effective in showing the importance of safety to teenagers.
He says all collisions at railways crossings are unavoidable unlike other types of collisions.
Kevin Clynick of the Saint John Fire Department says the mock collision shows the young people who are new or inexperienced drivers the risks of taking chances at railway crossings.
