Fire Crews from the K-V, Hampton, Nauwigewalk and Saint John called out early this morning to a blaze in a two story house on Upper Golden Grove Road. Captain Bill Gentleman says crews were on scene for 6 hours battling the flames, which caused significant damage to the upstairs and basement of the home. One man was living there but managed to escape on time. Gentleman says the home is still standing, but it's difficult to say whether or not it's salvageable as it suffered smoke, heat and fire damage.
