A veteran Sussex town councillor is setting his sights on provincial politics.
George Horton who has spent 9 years with town council in Dairytown has been acclaimed at the Liberal candidate for Kings East in the fall vote.
Horton was acclaimed at a meeting last night.
The 49-year-old is a small business owner and a married father of two.
He has spent the 12 years working on the Atlantic International Ballon Fiesta in Sussex.
