Police Analyzing Human Remains

After an investigation , police have determined suspicious bones found along Highway 1 were that of an animal. According to Sergeant Jay Henderson, they analyzed them as a precaution and found they were  deer bones. 

Meantime, the human remains discovered near Spruce Lake last month have been sent away for forensic examination to help their establish their identity. 

Police say they haven't yet heard anything back about the results, and don't expect to for some time.
