The Canadian Red Cross deploying 14 Maritimers, including a couple from Hampton and a woman from Fredericton, to Alberta to assist in the wildfire relief efforts.
Spokesperson Dan Bedell tells CHSJ News individuals were chosen because they all have experience with managing shelter operations and logistics.
The volunteers will be helping with relief efforts for one to two weeks.
